Sarracenia "Saurus" x flava var. rubricorpora crosses two standout North American pitcher plants. 'Saurus' is a S. x moorei cultivar famous for its massive, wide, heavy pitchers, among the largest of any man-made Sarracenia. S. flava var. rubricorpora is the red-bodied form of the yellow trumpet pitcher plant, with deep red tubes beneath yellow-green lids. This cross brings together that size and vigor with rich red color.
Color is strongest in full sun.
