Frequently Asked Questions
What lighting does Dragon's Breath need?
Moderate to high reef lighting, around 100–250 PAR, brings out its glowing orange-red color. Pair it with moderate flow, 1.024–1.026 salinity, and 72–78°F water.
Is Dragon's Breath reef-safe?
Yes, it's completely reef-safe and also contributes to nutrient export. Note that herbivorous fish like tangs may graze on it, so it does best in tanks without heavy algae grazers.
Is Dragon's Breath hard to keep?
It's rated easy to moderate. Give it stable reef parameters, decent light, and moderate flow and it will reward you with flowing red growth.
What size will I receive?
A healthy cutting roughly 2" (small) or 3–4" (large), similar to the product photos.
