Brittle starfish are fascinating echinoderms with long flexible arms that allow them to move quickly through rockwork while scavenging for leftover food and detritus. Most aquarium-kept species are nocturnal and spend the day hidden before becoming more active after lights out.

These have an impressive ~10” spread and appreciate occasional target feedings of meaty foods like mysis shrimp or chopped seafood.
